We want to help kids in the Jackson neighborhood to overcome challenges they face in the areas of education and obesity by teaching them how to set goals and reach those goals. Jackson CDC partnered with Off the Front to provide every fourth-grade student at Jackson with the opportunity to earn bicycles when they achieved customized goals in academics, character, and service. Part of this initiative also involved bike repairs.
